As promised, Lauren Conrad appeared on “The Hills” for the last time at the after-party held right after the season finale aired on MTV Tuesday, July 13. The original star of the reality show turned back her previous statement that it was a fake show, saying she is “proud” as part of it, had “fun” while filming it and never regretted a moment of it.

A season 1 reel was then played, showing Lauren as a bleach blonde, applying for a spot in Teen Vogue. Asked which moment she considered the darkest while working there, Lauren said, “I think that my worst day was, and I feel bad saying it, because she’s here now, the day I met Kelly Cutrone and she made me cry.” But she quickly clarified, “I love Kelly.”
Another footage was displayed when she chose not to go to Paris to stay with Jason Wahler. Now that she overlooked it, Lauren declared, “Always choose Paris! Always!,” adding a girl should not lose herself in a relationship.
“The Hills” ended with Lauren’s replacement Kristin Cavallari getting into a car heading to the airport. She said she was going on a flight to a country in Europe and she left behind Brody Jenner. But the camera continued rolling after she went away, shooting at the crew and production team. “I think we both couldn’t have been happier with the ending. We were speechless,” Kristin said.
The entire “Hills” crew, except Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, celebrated the end of the show by attending the wrap up party in L.A. The absent couple is in the middle of their separation.
A lot of faces have come and gone since ‘The Hills‘ debuted on MTV in May 2006, and in honor of the show’s July 13 series finale — we know, we’re sad, too — we’re playing catch-up with a few of the most memorable ‘Hills’ stars of the past, starting with, of course …
Lauren “L.C.” Conrad
Conrad’s the one that started it all, as the ‘Laguna Beach’ star’s move from her Southern California hometown to Los Angeles to launch her career in the fashion industry sparked ‘The Hills’ as a ‘Laguna Beach’ spin-off. For five seasons, ‘The Hills’ revolved around L.C’s educational pursuits at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, her internship at Teen Vogue, her romantic pursuits with Jason Wahler and Brody Jenner and her friendship with former roommate Heidi Montag.
After that last friendship went sour — with Heidi’s hook-up with Spencer Pratt — LC began to focus on friendships with Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port, and in the middle of ‘The Hills’ fifth season, made her final appearance on the show (at, of all places, Heidi and Spencer’s wedding).
Since her reality TV days ended, Conrad has written two bestselling novels (a third one will be released in October), launched the LC by Lauren Conrad clothing line at Kohl’s and started dating a scripted TV celeb, ‘My Boys’ star Kyle Howard. Conrad confirmed last month that she won’t return to ‘The Hills’ for the series finale, but will pop in for the post-finale reunion special on July 13.
Jason Wahler
Lauren even gave up a summer trip to Paris for Teen Vogue to stay in Los Angeles with boyfriend Jason in ‘The Hills’ season one finale, but their tempestuous relationship finally crashed and burned at the beginning of season two.
Post-’Hills,’ Wahler has continued to make headlines, but not positive ones. He’s scheduled to be a part of the next season of VH1′s ‘Celebrity Rehab’ with Dr. Drew Pinsky, but his drinking escapades have led to racist rants, instances of him getting drunk and throwing his shoes at people and allegedly hitting a tow truck driver, all chronicled in many, many posts at TMZ.com. And, since the beginning of 2010, he’s been arrested for a bar fight in Mexico, was booked later in March on suspicion of DUI and, in June, was arrested at a party in Hollywood after being accused of hitting a female.
Jen Bunney
Bunney was a longtime friend of L.C.’s — such a good friend, in fact, that Lauren presented her with diamond jewelry for her birthday in a season two ‘Hills’ episode. But, later (in that same episode!), Bunney spent some up-close-and-personal time with L.C.’s ex, Brody Jenner, in a messy, sneaky situation that also involved Spencer and another of Lauren’s so-called friends, Heidi. Bunney was dismissed from L.C.’s clique with that action, and was an infrequent presence on the show afterwards.
Earlier this year, Bunney popped up in photos with Heidi Montag, who’d just announced that she was splitting with husband Spencer and would star in a new reality show with Bunney (a newly blonde Bunney, who, like Heidi, looked like a completely different person after some reported plastic surgery). But, like so many others before her, Bunney learned — via the media, of course — that Heidi is a fickle friend, as the soon-to-be-ex-Mrs. Pratt reportedly no longer wants to be Bunney’s reality TV BFF … after, Bunney says, she quit her job to star in the show.
Elodie Otto
Elodie was Heidi’s friend and confidant when the clueless Montag worked for nightlife entrepreneur Brent Bolthouse at Bolthouse Productions. Elodie made the mistake of sharing her ambitions for a promotion at the company, which prompted Heidi to go for — and get — the promotion, and, more importantly, the sweet private office, for herself. And another Heidi Montag friendship bit the dust. But Elodie moved on from Heidi and the gig at Bolthouse, and is now an SEO specialist for a hotel chain based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and comments on her favorite reality TV shows at her blog, SEO Showbiz Gal.
Jordan Eubanks
Former baseball player and aspiring actor Eubanks (he had starred on the MTV series ‘Damage Control’ prior to ‘The Hills’) was the pre-Spencer Pratt boyfriend of Heidi Montag during the show’s first season (he gave Heidi a puppy or Christmas on the show). Since then, Eubanks has continued to pursue his acting career, including co-producing and starring in the indie flick ’2 Dudes and a Dream,’ which also starred Simon Rex, Nikki Ziering, Jason Mewes, Andy Milonakis and the aforementioned Jason Wahler.
Emily Weiss
She was the super intern who swept into Teen Vogue in season two and taught Lauren and Whitney a thing or two about ambition. Not surprisingly, Weiss is still working in fashion media, as a freelance fashion assistant at Vogue.com.
Doug Reinhardt
He had grown up in Laguna Beach with L.C. (and had taken her to his senior prom), and after his stint as a minor league baseball player ended, he moved to Los Angeles and was reunited with Lauren, who dated him briefly during the fourth season of ‘The Hills.’
Reinhardt, whose stepfather invented the frozen burrito, went on to even more famously date Paris Hilton in 2009 (the two were rumored to be engaged at one point), and last month, was linked to Miss World USA Lane Lindell. Career-wise, Reinhardt is the co-founder and CEO of FUGEN Mobile, a mobile messaging and applications services company, and he and his family are following in Kardashian footsteps as the stars of the upcoming E! reality series ‘Reinhardts: Family Comes First.’
Jayde Nicole
The 2008 Playboy Playmate of the Year dated Brody Jenner during ‘The Hills’ fifth season, but the pair constantly fought and eventually ended their relationship before the end of the season. Post-’Hills,’ Nicole vowed never to watch the show again, though she’s rumored to be developing her own reality series for E!.

Last night’s episode of The Hills was so boring and chock full of fake drama, we just feel relieved that it’s all coming to an end next Tuesday night. Bring on July 13!
Seriously, we used to love the show, openly and unabashedly. It was a favorite guilty pleasure. But that was 2007-2009, and here’s what we’re dealing with now:
-
None of our favorites (Lauren, Whitney and Speidi) are even on it. Take any other show and subtract the four most interesting people. Would you watch it?
-
We KNOW FOR A FACT the stories are fake since these are celebrities and events in their lives are chronicled weeks/months before this crap airs on MTV.

Heidi’s mom sure does miss her on The Hills. We feel the same way.
Case in point, Kristin Cavallari finally
put herself out there with Brody Jenner, telling him she wanted to give it a shot, but ouch – he told her he has a girlfriend.
This might have been semi-compelling were he not dating a FAMOUS MUSICIAN for months (Avril Lavigne) and if Kristin weren’t DATING A HILLS CAMERAMAN.
The fact that they seemingly hang out 24/7 and he failed to mention this wasn’t addressed, either. In any case, she did a nice job acting heartbroken/surprised.
Meanwhile, we were officially introduced to Lo’s boyfriend of a year, Scott. He asked Lo to move in with him, but she resisted, looking for him to put a ring on it.
We’ll see if he does … or if anyone cares.
Stephanie Pratt met Josh, a guy she hits it off with immediately, since they both don’t drink. Seriously, though, when did Stephanie Pratt become interesting.
And, of course, there’s Speidi, noticeably absent but on the minds of her sister and mom, who spent the episode trying in vain to reach her and lamenting life.
If there was anything good about last night, it was the previews for next week’s series finale of The Hills. How will these semi-real story lines conclude?
We’ll find out and pop the champagne Tuesday.
Stephanie Pratt apparently is not ready to end her reality TV career. It is reported that the younger sister of Spencer Pratt is moving to “The City” because her current starring vehicle “The Hills” is going to wrap up for good on Tuesday, July 13. If it is indeed true, then Stephanie would be reunited with the show’s stars Whitney Port and Olivia Palermo.

“Now that ‘The Hills’ is over, Stephanie has been talking about moving to New York for ‘The City’,” a source told NY Post. “There would be a lot of drama there because her ex-best friend, Roxy Olin, is a regular on the show – and there’s bad blood because Roxy just dropped Stephanie for Whitney Port.”
The producers and Stephanie allegedly are in negotiation terms right now and no decision has been made. MTV has not responded to the report, but a source told Gossip Cop that there is actually no discussion yet.
Lauren Conrad will indeed pay homage to the show that catapulted her to stardom. The 24-year-old will re-appear on “The Hills” just few months after she announced her departure from the reality show to concentrate on other projects. The MTV show is ending July 13 after six seasons.

The return has been confirmed by a rep who said Lauren will come back not in the finale episode but a live show after that. Lauren, who is the original heroine before Kristin Cavallari replaced her in season 6, will also be reunited with Whitney Port who also left the show for her own set of reality, “The City“.
“Lauren Conrad will be at the finale event along with Whitney Port and the whole entire cast,” creator Adam DiVello first broke the news on Tuesday, June 29. “It will be a big party. We have some stories being paid off in the finale that I think the viewers will find pretty exciting. Everybody’s coming at peace with the stories we’ve been following. I think a few of them definitely found happiness and found what they were looking for.”
Audrina Patridge, Kristin and Whitney have each expressed their excitement of the reunion. Whitney tweeted, “So excited to reunite with all the hillsies!”.
Even though The Hills
will be ending soon, we wouldn’t be surprised if MTV will be creating yet another show for these ladies and gents. Kristin Cavallari doesn’t look like she’s giving up on television just yet though. And we’re sure that Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag will be keeping up with their appearances.

Surviving practically six seasons of drama, MTV’s The Hills
is rearing to wrap up soon. The series’ cast – or what’s left of them, given how Speidi’s departed – has already started talking about the end. Kristin Cavallari discussed her feelings about the show’s conclusion, admitting how gloomy it would be for their reality TV stint to end.
Talking to MTV News, the Hills star revealed how she’ll miss the set and the people who helped her throughout her time there. And yes, even those who made her life unbearable with all the catfights and relationship troubles caused on the show.
“It’s gonna be weird not seeing everyone every week; you become such a family with the whole cast and crew,” Kristin Cavallari declared. Still, despite her past with them, she’s still hoping to move on from that.
“Everyone’s starting to notice it and get a little sad. And of course now, everyone’s getting along and having the time of their lives, because it’s ending!” she said. “But I’m also excited to go off and do bigger and better things as well,” she said.
When that time comes and she’s done with The Hills at last, Kristin Cavallari said there might be another show in the future. There’s still no certainty in that though.
“There’s always the possibility of a spin-off. But after right now, no,” she said.

Kristin Cavallari doesn’t look like she’s giving up on television just yet though. And we’re sure that Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag will be keeping up with their appearances.

Now that The Hills star Heidi Montag is pretty sure she’ll be divorcing husband Spencer Pratt, she’s setting her sights on a new man. Or boy. She’s apparently trying to 16-year-old musician Justin Bieber.

Bieber fans were scandalized when a Twitter update from Heidi Montag appeared, which read: “@justinbieber now that I am getting divorced I think you and I should do a photo shoot together! Cutie
! I’m closer to your age”.
MTV News reports that the public thinks the Hills star went too far with her comment. She did, however, deny her involvement in the statement and blamed it on Spencer Pratt instead.
“I didn’t write that thing about Bieber my fame hoer x husband hacked my Twitter and wrote that he is so lame!” Heidi Montag wrote, on a tweet addressed to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.
Aside from her dismissal of Spencer Pratt, there’s another person in Heidi Montag’s life that she wants to get rid of. X17 Online reports that the Hills star has expressed desire to cut off ties with her friend Jennifer Bunney, who she’s planning to have a reality show with.
Ever since she spoke to the press about what’s been going on between Spencer and Heidi, it’s been difficult to stay friends with the two. “Heidi is trying to distance herself from Jen … not even returning her calls. Ever since Jen has returned from Hong Kong, she’s been calling Heidi non-stop asking about this summer’s show. Heidi is definitely over her,” a source told the publication.
They then talked to Jennifer Bunney about it, who said: “I knew something was up because she honestly has not called me back. [...]This is just so shocking because I’ve been so supportive of her. I quit my job because she told me to. I was supposed to move in with her within the next couple of days.”
Heidi Montag, meanwhile, is still wrapped up in her own world, which apparently involves the Shannon twins, stars of The Girls Next Door. They’re her “BFFS” now. Or until she decides to ditch them too.

Look who’s picking favorites. After news of her inking the deal to turn bestselling novel LA Candy into a movie, Lauren Conrad is already thinking about who to star in it. While she might want the spotlight for herself, she believes someone else needs a turn. Who else would come to mind but her best friend, Lo Bosworth?
MTV News reported that Lauren pointed out how Lo has had formal training in the past, so casting her for LA Candy would be appropriate enough. Besides, the whole flick is about a girl in a reality TV series. We’d all be surprised if she wouldn’t get that role right.
“I would like Lo Bosworth,” Conrad responded when asked about who she’d choose to star on LA Candy. “Lo has taken a couple of acting classes in her life.”
But if that doesn’t work out, she just won’t stop looking for someone to fit the bill. “I have to do research. We’ll see,” she said. “I feel like I’m going to shoot for someone crazy amazing, and then they’re going to be like, ‘Ugh, yeah, I’ll do your movie.’”
Despite her relationship with Lo, LC isn’t keeping up with her on The Hills that much anymore. With the new season having premiered without her, she just couldn’t quite stand watching it. On her interview, she wished the series the best of luck even though she’s no longer the star.
“I didn’t watch it, no,” Lauren Conrad admitted. “I mean, I love Lo, but to be honest, I hope it does really well because MTV did so much for me.”
One of the reasons why she can hardly be entertained by The Hills is because she was part of it for so long. It’s not the casting of Kristin Cavallari that bothers her, but for now she’s stepping back from witnessing all that drama unfold.
And she does admit, there’s plenty of that in the new season. “I think people are liking it. They got some drama.”
Even though LC’s out of The Hills, there’s still plenty of her to go around. We’ve all heard of her bestselling novel LA Candy, and we know how she plans to turn it into a film. Well, the thought that it might be the next Twilight is getting more support thanks to recent events. I guess it’s another reason for me to stay away from it.
Moving on, Variety reports that Temple Hill Entertainment has already bought the rights to Lauren Conrad’s debut novel. The company’s partners Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey of Twilight fame are all geared up to produce. The reality TV star will certainly be involved, as she’ll take on the role of executive producer through her Blue Eyed Girl Prods. banner.
“Lauren, who became an icon in that reality show world, came to us with a structure of how to tell the story in an interesting fashion that was separate and apart from the book,” Bowen explained.
He went on to sing the praises of LA Candy, which is based on Lauren Conrad’s experiences with Laguna Beach and The Hills. It follows the exploits of a 19-year-old girl named Jane Roberts who moves to Hollywood and ends up starring in a reality television show.
“We loved her take. Her book is an honest portrayal of what it must be like to set out to be normal, then sign on to become famous and eventually realize, wow, this isn’t at all what I’d planned for myself.”
They’re all currently busy looking for a writer to pen the script, and that’ll come before they search for a studio/financier. Lauren Conrad will certainly be helping out with the script, even though she’s busy writing two more books as sequels to LA Candy.
Just like Twilight, it has been on the New York Times Bestseller list for weeks. Sans vampires, LC’s tome already has its share of creepy creatures, like those bitches forever sharpening their claws. It’s based on reality TV teenage drama, so what else can we expect? I can’t even begin to imagine who she’ll cast as the star of the movie.
One more cast expresses her desire to leave the “unscripted” series “The Hills“. Speaking to Hollyscoop on Tuesday, September 29, Stephanie Pratt revealed that she wants to quit the reality show after the tenth episode and that she will not be the only one. “I don’t know how much more I can take of The Hills. …The Hills is very brutal,” Stephanie said.

The younger sister of Spencer Pratt also mentioned that Audrina Patridge and Lo Bosworth will walk out with her. Several times before the fifth season went on air on MTV, Audrina herself said that she wanted to “graduate” from the show, speaking publicly that she doesn’t get along with the new star Kristin Cavallari who replaces Lauren Conrad.
Stephanie, on the other hand, stated that Kristin is not her reason of departure. “It’s not because of Kristin,” she said. “I was going to stay and see what happens after these ten episodes, but I just don’t think I can stand The Hills anymore.” With her leave, Stephanie envisioned that the show will fare much better with the new people and story lines.
In the meantime, Kristin is enjoying every moment of her time on “The Hills“, saying “I pretty much do anything they have me do because I don’t care. I mean, we’re filming a TV show. Let’s make it interesting. Let’s have a good time with it.” She was deemed “The B***h” in the promo made by MTV.
