In the hopes of battling those who have disapproved of Heidi Montag’s decision to undergo ten hours of plastic surgery, the Hills
star sent out a message. It’s not her usual whiny rant about how she’s suffering from it all. She actually worked with FunnyorDie.com on a public service announcement making fun of herself.
While there aren’t a lot of fans who support Heidi Montag in her cosmetic surgery ventures, maybe they’ll change her mind about her with the clip. Directed by Jake Szymanski & Ron Howard, the video pokes fun at the procedures and paying for it using credit cards.
The clip starts off with the Hills starlet staring straight into the camera and introducing herself. Oddly, there are still some people who have no idea who she is, lucky for them. That’s really a good thing, if you look at the grander scheme.
“Hi, I’m Heidi Montag,” she exclaims. “If you’re a reality TV star,chances are good that you’ll one day have plastic surgery. It’s also a for sure thing that you’ll have to pay for that surgery with a credit card because you’ve spent all your I’m A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here money on expensive purses, tiny dogs,and healing bracelets for your husband.”
Of course, her spouse and The Hills co-star Spencer Pratt makes a cameo appearance on the video too. If only they’d make fun of their desire to gain attention, maybe they’ll have a hit on their hands.
But right now, they’re dealing with the plastic surgery issue. And this is how they’ve decided to solve their problem with it. Catch the video below and see for yourself. Does it deserve a LOL, or do you want it to go under the knife as well?
And that image of that “smiling” Heidi Montag version 2.0 will be what haunts our sleep cycles tonight. We’re okay with the Hills star making fun of herself, but seeing the finished product isn’t as satisfying as we hoped.

star Spencer Pratt has been forced to keep quiet for a while, because he just had a hole in his tongue stitched up.
According to TMZ, the reality TV celebrity got into a rather bloody incident concerning his dog. The two were playing tug-of-war with the pup, using a little rope toy. Spencer Pratt, genius that he is, put one end of the plaything inside his mouth and you can guess what happened next.
If you weren’t able to put two and two together, here’s what went on. The rope slipped from The Hills star’s jaw, and Spencer Pratt bit down on his own tongue. Wait, we mean right through his own tongue.
Spencer headed straight to the hospital to let the doctor mend the gaping hole in his licker, that hole in his pie-hole or what have you. He was also advised to keep his mouth shut for the following days, which makes us raise our arms and sing Hallelujah. Despite this being temporary, maybe the Hills celeb believes this is an indication for silence for the rest of the year.
The report goes on to say that Pratt thought getting his tongue stitched is “a sign from God that he needs to continue to keep his mouth shut in 2010.” Unfortunately, that doesn’t fully stop him from promoting himself. After all, there’s still Twitter.
Spencer Pratt posted photos of his scarred tongue on his account, and even put up a warning. We’re not going to bring those nasty images to this site though. You’ll just have to see for yourself.
A three-year restraining order wasn’t able to keep Audrina Patridge’s stalker away, but maybe time behind bars will. Just last week, the star of The Hills
found herself in danger of the 24-year-old Zachary Loring, who knocked on the doors of her Los Angeles home at around 8am.
TMZ reports that police rushed to the scene and apprehended the man. He has long been a danger to the life of the reality TV actress, causing her much distress. Now that he’s been taken into custody, Audrina Patridge remains to be safe.
Los Angeles police state that the man was found with a knife upon his arrest. It was a good thing that someone who spotted him dialed 911. He kept banging on the star’s door and ringing her doorbell, which certainly was a cause for alarm.
In September, the 24-year-old Audrina Patrdige was granted a restraining order against Zachary Loring already. She even testified at his hearing, saying that she feared for her own life. Her stalker allegedly went to her house repeatedly, sending her unsettling and disturbing sketches featuring a woman being hanged.
Now that Loring has been arrested, he’s being held on $160,000 bail for suspicion of stalking and violating a court order. He’s also been booked for charges on misdemeanor vandalism. He was already detained in the past, making this his second capture outside the Patridge’s home.
Even though the Hills actress was inside the house when the incident occurred, her reps declared that all is going well with her so far. “Audrina is safe and unharmed and she is going about her day as usual,” her publicist, Jennifer Shoucair Weaver, announced in a statement.
It sounds like she’s ready to get back on the streets with her boyfriend, musician Ryan Cabrera. With Loring behind bars, the star is free to roam Hollywood once again, or even film more episodes of her TV series. We can bet her stalker won’t be seeing those anymore.
It looks like stepping away from The Hills
is really doing some good to Lauren Conrad’s career. Not that she wasn’t a celebrity in her own right back then; it’s just more fulfilling for her to be an author. With two of her tomes already on the New York Times Bestseller list, she’s probably getting richer for that too.
Talking to People, the 24-year-old star expressed how great it felt to have two novels out in the market. They’ve been welcomed warmly by the fans, and her celebrity status certainly adds to the value of the books. Her first novel, LA Candy, spent weeks in the bestseller spot and is being followed by its sequel, Sweet Little Lies, there.
But the ranking isn’t what concerns Lauren Conrad all that much. What she really cares about, she says, is just putting her thoughts to the page.
“It’s so gratifying for my second book to be so successful and it was so fun to write!” the former Hills star exclaimed to People. “The characters were already developed so I really enjoyed the process so much more this time around. All the characters have become like my friends now.”
It also sounds like she’s holding slumber parties for them with how she’s described her writing process. According to Lauren Conrad, she spends time churning out her words while in bed.
“I just sat in bed writing and it was the best process,” she announced. “Who gets to work from home in their PJ’s?”
These two novels following protagonist 19-year-old Jane Roberts, who moves to Hollywood to film her own reality TV show. Sweet Little Lies continues the story, a semi-autobiographical take on Lauren Conrad’s life.

though. But the public’s eating it up. “I’m just so thankful to my fans. E veryone is coming out to see me in the snow,” Conrad said, currently on her book tour. “I just can’t believe it.”
Proving that you can own up to your mistakes, Audrina Patridge let the cameras roll for the Super Bowl party where she showed a bit too much skin. As a star of The Hills, that hardly is a problem. But sometimes things can get a little out of hand when it comes to being fashionable.
According to Hollywood Life, the 24-year-old Audrina suffered a wardrobe malfunction during the Maxim Party for Super Bowl XLIV last Saturday. She donned a black mini-dress that didn’t quite fit her well and was unable to contain her body properly.
The report goes on to say that “her boobs kept popping out while MTV cameras were rolling,” which means we’ll most likely see this on The Hills‘ upcoming season. Audrina just went with it, hoping this really would be a laugh to watch.
Whether or not this will boost ratings is still questionable, but you have to be proud of Audrina Patridge for being that comfortable with her body. Well, even though not all of us are excited to see that segment on television.
What we actually might still watch is the rest of the cast, who were also present during the party. They were all seated at a private table with the camera crew, and even had the whole area blocked off for themselves. Security was around for their safety as well, with bodyguards flanking their spot.
Joining Audrina were Kristin Cavallari, Lo Bosworth, and Stephanie Pratt. All four ladies seemed to have enjoyed the party entirely, without the presence of prominent Hills couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.
AceShowbiz reports that at the end of the night, the girls headed outside and tried hailing cabs because they weren’t too fit to drive. Unfortunately, the producers of the MTV show reminded them that they weren’t allowed to ride taxis for the series. Still, they had enough drama for footage already thanks to Audrina. It really was some party for this reality TV cast.

star Lauren Conrad can’t help but look back at her past on the MTV reality TV show. All those relationship drama and twists are there to forever haunt her, especially since they’re the topics she discusses in her novels. And she’s already come up with a sequel to L.A. Candy.
With her fiction rooted in her real life, the 24-year-old celebrity revealed that some of her Hills boyfriends have actually stabbed her in the back. But they don’t have to worry about her vengeance; she’s already over it.
Us Magazine reports that during her days on the reality show, Lauren Conrad got involved with Jason Wahler, Stephen Colletti and shortly with Brody Jenner. She admits that a number of them were cheaters when with her. Still, it doesn’t bother her as much.
“I knew back then [that] I was being cheated on. I overlooked it,” the former Hills star told Seventeen Magazine. “The more confident me has come to the point where I’ve finally realized it’s not something that everyone does. It’s not okay to have your guy hook up with someone else. You deserve more.”
Despite the guys going behind her back with other girls, Lauren Conrad had her share of secret romances. She began dating Kyle Howard of My Boys fame back in 2008 and hardly anyone knew about it at the time. It was barely caught by the MTV cameras at all.
“By the time I had met Kyle, I had already perfected my ‘double life,’” the star went on. “There was my TV life and my real life.”
Part of her real life, she explains, was never even caught on television. Lauren Conrad still had the sense to keep some things to herself.
“Most of my closest friends were never on the show; my family was rarely on,” Conrad explained. “It’s not normal to put every part of your personal life on camera. You have to have something for yourself or you’ll go crazy.”
Heidi Montag has received plenty of criticism for going under the knife recently, but there’s one message she can’t ignore. According to Life & Style magazine, the reality star was overwhelmed by hate mail for what she’s done. Her mother couldn’t stand the 10 hours of cosmetic surgery her daughter went through, but the public is giving her worse feedback.

“Spencer ordered about seven bunches of flowers to cheer up Heidi because she’d received a letter or an e-mail saying that her plastic surgery was against God’s will,” revealed a neighbor of the couple.
It was also added that “Heidi’s apparently very spiritual, so this kind of criticism really stings.” We’ve all heard these two stars of The Hills proclaim their faiths in the past, even getting baptized on television.
This may not go well with many people, and it looks like the celeb is already paying the price. With the criticism she’s received, we can bet there’d be more. Is this the sort of attention that Heidi has been seeking?
Despite all the hate mail though, it sounds like Heidi Montag doesn’t really have a problem with trying to perfect herself even more. “Every starlet is getting surgery every other day to keep up her looks,” she told the magazine.
But a friend of the couple didn’t think Spencer could live with seeing his wife swollen everyday. He could get used to it, but these days it’s a challenge.
“It’s all a little too much,” said the pal. “He loved how Heidi looked before this surgery. Because she’s still swollen and the surgery hasn’t settled yet, he’s a bit shocked.”
Breaking up with Jayde Nicole has given Brody Jenner plenty of time in his hands, which is why today’s report is on him again. On an interview with MTV News, the star of The Hills
discussed the upcoming season of the series, in addition to other projects he’s currently involved in. He’s certainly focusing on his career now that his relationship with the Playboy model has ended.
Despite that, Brody Jenner is still hoping to rekindle romantic flames, this time old ones with Kristin Cavallari. Her return to the show last year marked a turning point for this actor’s life, which will continue when The Hills comes back in a few months.
“I can tell you, you guys are in for a crazy one!” the reality TV celebrity revealed. “With Kristin being on the show now, and there’s a lot of relationship drama in this one.”
Even though the drama’s heavy, Brody added that he preferred it if things were easier between all the stars. But that wouldn’t be good for ratings, would it?
“Next season I wanna try and lighten it up, a little more funny moments not just be so much drama, because this one is just packed with it! People braking up, getting back together, it’s crazy,” he said.
But while Krisitn’s running the show now, Brody can’t help but miss the previous scene-stealer, Lauren Conrad. He remarked on how much he misses her and added, “Me and Lauren have a good relationship, I haven’t really got to see her much, she’s got a boyfriend now and is doing her own thing writing her book, so I don’t see her as much as I’d like to but we get along great. I love Lauren.”
It’s not always girls that occupy Brody Jenner’s thoughts though. As mentioned earlier, there’s his career to settle for.
“I’m constantly staying busy with other projects, I really love being behind the camera so I’m constantly coming up with show ideas and concepts and I’m constantly in and out of meetings,” Jenner exclaimed. “I’ve got some projects coming up with MTV that we’re hopefully going to be starting pretty soon.”

Even though MTV has already confirmed its decision to push through with a new season of The Hills next year, dealing with the stars has been quite a hassle for the network. Reports have it that Audrina Patridge, who’s been hoping to leave it to work on her new show, is still under negotiations to return in 2010.
Usmagazine.com explains that the reality TV actress has rebuffed claims that she’s signed on for season 6. Celeblogger Perez Hilton claimed that the executives have convinced her to stay on for more episodes of The Hills instead, but a rep of Audrina’s says this isn’t so.
“Audrina is still in discussions with MTV about Season 6 of The Hills,” Patridge’s representative revealed. “There is not a firm deal in place. She is set to begin filming the pilot episode of her new show next week, in Los Angeles.”
The 24-year-old star has long since expressed her desire to leave The Hills for quite some time now. “I’m moving on. At times, I feel like I’m in high school, but I didn’t even go through this stuff in high school,” she declared in the past. However, if she thinks about it, there’s more fame in store for her once she appears in both shows.
A source told the publication that both The Hills and Audrina’s self-titled series could run side-by-side. But really, her exit in the finale is already apt enough. She’s already said goodbye to Justin Bobby, what other reason could there be for her to return?
Still, it doesn’t look like Audrina Patridge is ready to let go of the show that shot her to stardom. There’s the possibility that she’ll cross over from one show to the next, in the hopes of tying up loose ends. And, of course, causing even more drama for the cast of The Hills. Surely Kristin Cavallari knows how that goes.
Tim Gunn can’t possibly be the only style guru out there, or so Lauren Conrad thinks. Reports have confirmed that the former star of The Hills
is set to pen her own guide to style, set to be released in the fall of 2010. This would follow her best-selling novel L.A. Candy and its sequel, Sweet Little Lies.
People reports that the book has been titled Lauren Conrad Style and would be published by HarperCollins, featuring exclusive photos of the reality TV star. It will also show readers how to incorporate Conrad’s classic fashion sense into their lives, something that truly thrilled the fashion icon.
Lauren Conrad has always been involved in that industry, having designed a clothing line for Kohl’s. This style guide was just the inevitable step for her and has become a welcome addition to her career as an author.
“I am really excited to write a style guide,” the Hills celebrity said in a press release. “I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are. When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous.”
Despite her success as an author, fashion definitely became Conrad’s calling. She even admitted how fulfilling it is to be working on designs for clothes.
“This is what I love. It’s kind of why I did everything else,” she told MTV News. “When I’m doing sketches or going through color swatches, that’s the best time for me.”
Nevertheless, the books will only push her further into the industry and into the limelight. L.A. Candy has already topped the fiction charts and is being made into a movie, while Sweet Little Lies has been pegged for a February 2, 2010 release. Following that would be a book tour for Conrad, kicking off the next day in New York City.
