Last night’s episode of The Hills, “Elephant in the Room,” featured contrived romantic entanglements and Spencer Pratt absolutely going off on Heidi Montag’s family.
Basically, it was like almost every other episode of The Hills.
Beginning with the former category, Ryan Cabrera (yes, the lame singer) is having dinner with Audrina Patridge. These two have been dating for some time and seem happy.
That’s not what MTV wants you to think, though. Brody Jenner is dead set on pretending to want Audrina, even though he could’ve had her last year but chose Jayde Nicole.
Kristin Cavallari, meanwhile, is pondering a romance with Brody, who she used to date before fake-dating Justin-Bobby and before he was with Jayde (and LC before that).
It’s all the same, only the names change. And it’s all dull.
Elsewhere, Heidi Montag is planning a birthday party for cute neighbor kid Enzo, whose parents must really need the money to subject their son to this dysfunctional nonsense.
Brody later called the party the most awkward of his life. That can’t be far off.
The elephant in the room, of course, is Heidi’s plastic surgery and how Spencer loathes her family’s reaction to her transformed face and body. The tension grows palpable.
He lashes out hard at Holly. He bashes their mother. He blows his top, even worse than Spencer Pratt usually does. Calling her mom “just a vagina” … wow, dude. Wow.
Holly tells Heidi she was really shocked by some of the things Spencer said, that she felt “disrespected” and is unhappy about how Spencer treated her and their mom.
He retaliates that he was proud of himself for not saying what he really wanted to her … and tells her to please leave the premises or he will call the cops. Really.
Holly says that he scares her. We’re with her … but very much entertained.
In the hopes of battling those who have disapproved of Heidi Montag’s decision to undergo ten hours of plastic surgery, the Hills
star sent out a message. It’s not her usual whiny rant about how she’s suffering from it all. She actually worked with FunnyorDie.com on a public service announcement making fun of herself.
While there aren’t a lot of fans who support Heidi Montag in her cosmetic surgery ventures, maybe they’ll change her mind about her with the clip. Directed by Jake Szymanski & Ron Howard, the video pokes fun at the procedures and paying for it using credit cards.
The clip starts off with the Hills starlet staring straight into the camera and introducing herself. Oddly, there are still some people who have no idea who she is, lucky for them. That’s really a good thing, if you look at the grander scheme.
“Hi, I’m Heidi Montag,” she exclaims. “If you’re a reality TV star,chances are good that you’ll one day have plastic surgery. It’s also a for sure thing that you’ll have to pay for that surgery with a credit card because you’ve spent all your I’m A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here money on expensive purses, tiny dogs,and healing bracelets for your husband.”
Of course, her spouse and The Hills co-star Spencer Pratt makes a cameo appearance on the video too. If only they’d make fun of their desire to gain attention, maybe they’ll have a hit on their hands.
But right now, they’re dealing with the plastic surgery issue. And this is how they’ve decided to solve their problem with it. Catch the video below and see for yourself. Does it deserve a LOL, or do you want it to go under the knife as well?
And that image of that “smiling” Heidi Montag version 2.0 will be what haunts our sleep cycles tonight. We’re okay with the Hills star making fun of herself, but seeing the finished product isn’t as satisfying as we hoped.

star Spencer Pratt has been forced to keep quiet for a while, because he just had a hole in his tongue stitched up.
According to TMZ, the reality TV celebrity got into a rather bloody incident concerning his dog. The two were playing tug-of-war with the pup, using a little rope toy. Spencer Pratt, genius that he is, put one end of the plaything inside his mouth and you can guess what happened next.
If you weren’t able to put two and two together, here’s what went on. The rope slipped from The Hills star’s jaw, and Spencer Pratt bit down on his own tongue. Wait, we mean right through his own tongue.
Spencer headed straight to the hospital to let the doctor mend the gaping hole in his licker, that hole in his pie-hole or what have you. He was also advised to keep his mouth shut for the following days, which makes us raise our arms and sing Hallelujah. Despite this being temporary, maybe the Hills celeb believes this is an indication for silence for the rest of the year.
The report goes on to say that Pratt thought getting his tongue stitched is “a sign from God that he needs to continue to keep his mouth shut in 2010.” Unfortunately, that doesn’t fully stop him from promoting himself. After all, there’s still Twitter.
Spencer Pratt posted photos of his scarred tongue on his account, and even put up a warning. We’re not going to bring those nasty images to this site though. You’ll just have to see for yourself.
Whether he’s miffed that his wife is getting more attention than he is or he just wants to make himself look better, Spencer Pratt is planning to go under the knife too. At least, that’s what his friends say.
Pals of the Hills
star talked to Star Magazine about the couple’s obsession with plastic surgery. We know that Heidi Montag version 2.0 (new, but not exactly improved) has already confessed her desire for more operations, but what about her husband? Apparently, he may just share this experience with her.
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton wrote on his site that the friend said Spencer Pratt is hoping to undergo “lipo, chest implants and a nose job.” It’s less than the Big 10 that his wife had in the past, but it’s still being met with criticism.
The first and the last bits of the friend’s statement aren’t that unusual. It’s the “chest implants” that bothers us. Isn’t that taking things a little too far? For one thing, that would lead to quite an extreme reversal of roles if they continue.
Several fans already commented that Heidi was looking a bit like her husband after her surgeries. Could Spencer be attempting the same thing by turning into a Heidi? We shudder at the thought.
Also, wouldn’t these two be shuddering at the thought of that much pain? These two Hills celebrities don’t look like the type to have a high tolerance level for that. Spencer already admitted to Us Weekly that his wife did nothing but gripe after the operations. Since he can whine just as well as she can, he could even voice out a list of complaints after hours of plastic sugery.
“She came out of the hospital and the only thing she was saying was that the doctor better hide,” the 26-year-old Pratt told the magazine. “She wasn’t happy.”
Well, that could be another reason for Spencer’s supposed cosmetic surgery decision. He wanted to feel the pain that his wife had felt. While that really is a twisted way of sharing emotions in a relationship, we can’t really expect anything less from these Hills stars. After all, they’re the types who would do anything for fame.
Heidi Montag has received plenty of criticism for going under the knife recently, but there’s one message she can’t ignore. According to Life & Style magazine, the reality star was overwhelmed by hate mail for what she’s done. Her mother couldn’t stand the 10 hours of cosmetic surgery her daughter went through, but the public is giving her worse feedback.

star announced how shocked she was at the response to her surgery. The 23-year-old reality TV celebrity wasn’t pleased with the reactions, but we’re pretty sure she’s still pushing through with more surgery after this.
“Spencer ordered about seven bunches of flowers to cheer up Heidi because she’d received a letter or an e-mail saying that her plastic surgery was against God’s will,” revealed a neighbor of the couple.
It was also added that “Heidi’s apparently very spiritual, so this kind of criticism really stings.” We’ve all heard these two stars of The Hills proclaim their faiths in the past, even getting baptized on television.
This may not go well with many people, and it looks like the celeb is already paying the price. With the criticism she’s received, we can bet there’d be more. Is this the sort of attention that Heidi has been seeking?
Despite all the hate mail though, it sounds like Heidi Montag doesn’t really have a problem with trying to perfect herself even more. “Every starlet is getting surgery every other day to keep up her looks,” she told the magazine.
But a friend of the couple didn’t think Spencer could live with seeing his wife swollen everyday. He could get used to it, but these days it’s a challenge.
“It’s all a little too much,” said the pal. “He loved how Heidi looked before this surgery. Because she’s still swollen and the surgery hasn’t settled yet, he’s a bit shocked.”
For once in his life, The Hills
star Spencer Pratt has disagreed with his wife Heidi Montag. We know how he’s been trying to support her through whatever endeavor she undergoes, but there are still lines she shouldn’t cross. One of which was getting ten plastic surgery operations in one day, something the 26-year-old reality star doesn’t approve of.
On an interview with People magazine, Spencer Pratt admitted that he wasn’t in favor of Heidi’s decision. First of all, he believed that his co-star had no need of those surgeries. He was already happy with how his wife looks, but this certainly didn’t satisfy the 23-year-old Hills actress.
Despite his displeasure at what Heidi was doing for herself, Spencer knew that he just had to leave it up to her. There was no way he could convince his wife to quit her obsession with plastic surgery.
“Anytime I hinted that it might be a little much or if I just asked if she was sure, I even felt like I was crossing lines,” Spencer Pratt revealed. “I’m not in charge of what she does with any part of her body. I’m her husband – not her owner.”
He also went on to say that it’s really Heidi’s opinion of herself that counts. If she thinks something must be improved, then she goes off and has it done. Spencer already deemed his wife perfect, but he said, “everyone sees themselves differently when they look in the mirror.”
Pratt added, “Nobody truly understands how she feels except her. I may not be okay with things, but it’s not my call.”
Still, it was difficult for Spencer to see his wife after the surgeries, which took place last November. “Right after … it was the worst experience of my life,” the Hills actor said. “Nobody that loves a loved one should see that.”
Heidi Montag is insatiable when it comes to improving her features, which is why she’s allowed the plastic surgeons to perform 10 operations in the last two months on her body. She’s practically remodeled everything about her, but we can bet this isn’t the last of it all. 
After going under the knife that many times, will the star of The Hills
still be recognizable? Will her husband be able to tell her apart from the other MTV blondes? Well, now that she’s on the cover of People magazine, it won’t be so hard to remember her mug.
CNN reports that Heidi Montag, wife of Spencer Pratt, discussed her plastic surgery obsession with the magazine. Just recently, she underwent 10 hours of it. That includes the revision of a nose job, a mini brow lift, a butt augmentation and of course breast implants. What’s more, she won’t be stopping there.
“For the past three years I’ve thought about what to have done,” The Hills reality star revealed. “I am absolutely beyond obsessed.”
There’s always the same sad story behind incidents like this, so it’s no surprise Heidi Montag divulged her own. “I was made fun of when I was younger, and so I had insecurities, especially after I moved to L.A.,” she explained. “People said I had a ‘Jay Leno chin;’ they’d circle it on blogs and say nasty things.”
Trying her best to improve herself as she got more and more famous, Heidi Montag then started planning what she wanted. It isn’t enough, but she’ll have to deal with what she has until the next operation. The celeb even said she wanted to increase her breast cup size further.
It’s all part of Heidi’s plan to make it big (really big) in the business they call show. “I’m competing against the Britney Spearses of the world — and when she was in her prime, it was her sex appeal that sold,” she said. “Obviously, looks matter; it’s a superficial industry.”
And there’s no other industry she’d rather be part of, no matter how many Heidi Montag versions we get to witness after every cosmetic surgery operation.
Hearing about King Spencer buying his own music company was alarming enough, but seeing this Pratt on the jacket of a CD? Makes you feel like the apocalypse has come as a holiday surprise, doesn’t it? Reports say that the Hills star recently posted the design of his album cover on his Twitter account, where he’s been promoting his new single titled “I’m a Celebrity.”
As you can see from the photo of Spencer Pratt’s album cover, it delivers what one expects of it. It’s the guy’s face as he fans himself with several dollar bills and towers over a silhouetted Hollywood. The glaring beams of blue behind him are obviously spotlights, focusing on the self-proclaimed King.
What’s more, the bold and blocked font of Spencer’s name with blue-to-white gradients emphasizes his desire to make himself known. As if he wasn’t already. But it could definitely use a bit of contrast; blue letters against a blue background don’t really work that well. Unless, of course, he’s implying that he’s blue-blooded royalty, then he did a good job.
Spencer Pratt’s album cover simply highlights the fact that he thinks he’s reached absolute celebrity status and he’s proud of it. You may think the album cover’s not as artful or profound as those of veteran musicians, but it’s from the star of The Hills. We’re not really holding out for much.
But if you’re still interested in what Spencer Pratt has to offer in terms of music, you might want to know that his single, “I’m a Celebrity” (just like the album’s title, yes), will be out soon. It will be available online a few days before Christmas.
“My new single “I’m A Celebrity” is available on iTunes 12/22,” Spencer posted on his Twitter. We’re only hoping he could at least do better than his wife, who launched her music career last year. While she’s on her way to conquering the literary world – everyone shudder! – we wait as her husband does what he can with this musical effort.

aren’t the same. Speidi can’t carry it alone, and we’re indifferent on Kristin.
