The Hills: I’m Done With You – Recap
In this episode of The Hills, Stephanie tried to land an internship, while Spencer tried to land a hot bartender. Only one of them was successful. By the episode’s end, Ms. Pratt had been hired for a new gig, while her brother had been told how to save his relationship: go to counseling.
We open with Stephanie attempting to convince Lauren to get her an interview for an internship at People’s Revolution. LC actually gives in and sets up an interview with Kelly “toughest person to work for in the fashion industry” Cutron.
The interview was easily the highlight of the episode. Stephanie hands over her resume. She then informs Kelly that she wants to work for her so she can get the experience she needs to start her own handbag line. From here, Kelly took over!
She asks Stephanie why she would hire her, considering Stephanie said the gig would solely be a means to her own end. This left Ms. Pratt speechless. Kelly adds that being nervous, crying or screwing up is not allowed in her office. Can we get this woman her own reality show? Please?!? Of course, in the end, Kelly hires Steph and reveals the reason later on to LC: “The interview was such a folly that she could be genius.”
Isn’t that reasoning how America elected George W. Bush to his second term?
Now, sadly, on to Heidi and Spencer. Spencer goes bar hopping with Charlie. He wants to get back at Heidi for hanging with her ex Colby. Somehow, some way, Heidi and Stephanie find him with the bartender Stacey and immediately start calling him out for being a jerk. They also call Stacey a whore and a home wrecker because that’s how girls often roll.
In the final moments, just as it seems as their relationship has come to an end, Heidi says tells Spencer they should go to a relationship counselor.
Will Spencer agree? And what are the odds that this counselor turns out to be Dr. Drew? Turn in next week and find out!
